Last updated: 28 August 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how the Daanos Social Media Poster (the “Service”) handles your data. The Service is a tool that lets users publish their own videos to social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Who we are

What data we process

We keep data collection to the minimum required to publish your content:

• Basic account information supplied by the connected platform, such as your account or channel ID, username or display name and profile picture.
• Authorization data: access tokens and refresh tokens issued by the platform, plus the scopes and expiry dates associated with them.
• Content you choose to upload or schedule: video files, captions, titles, descriptions, privacy settings and publishing status.
• Technical logs needed for reliability and abuse prevention, such as timestamps and error messages of publishing attempts.

We do not collect payment data, and we do not buy or receive personal data from third parties.

Platform authorization via official APIs

All connections run through the official APIs of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube using OAuth. You log in on the platform’s own website and explicitly grant permission. We never ask for or store your social media passwords. You can revoke access at any time in your platform account settings, which immediately stops the Service from posting on your behalf.

Access tokens

Access and refresh tokens are stored securely, encrypted at rest, and are never made public, sold, or shared with advertisers or other third parties. Tokens are used only to perform the actions you request, such as uploading and publishing a video. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect an account or delete your data.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you and keep your connected accounts linked.
• To upload, schedule and publish the videos you submit.
• To show publishing status, errors and basic post history back to you.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse and comply with platform requirements.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not train AI models on your content.

Retention

Account and token data are kept for as long as your account remains connected. Uploaded media is retained only as long as needed to complete publishing, after which it is removed from our systems. Technical logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Sharing

Data is shared only with the social media platform you selected, in order to publish your content, and with infrastructure providers that host the Service on our behalf under a processing agreement. We may disclose data if legally required.

Your rights and data deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To request deletion, disconnect the relevant account in the Service and/or send an email to daanos@daanos.nl with the subject “Data deletion request”, or use the contact form on daanos.com. We verify the request and delete your account data and tokens within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain specific records. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, or below the minimum age required by the connected platform.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date.
